The Order is Christian and European. It supports the multinational old Austrian idea of the state, the\r\nincreased need for cooperation between the states of Central and South-Eastern Europe and is committed to a united, self-confident Europe.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"auto\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">The Order is conservative in values, economically liberal and is committed to comprehensive national defence; it sees itself as part of a conservative Europe-\r\noriented network and takes a stand on political issues. The Order is charitable and strives to alleviate or combat the Eightfold Misery:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\r\n<li><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"auto\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">Illness and Hunger<\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"auto\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">Abandonment and Homelessness<\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"auto\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">Disbelief and Guilt<\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"auto\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">Indifference and Unkindness<\/span><\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p>\r\n\r\n<\/p>\r\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"auto\" data-phrase-index=\"0\">The Order is elitist.
