On 28 September 2024 the 14th Viennese Ball took place in The Crystal Hall at the Hotel Kvarner in Opatija. The Commandery Kroatien-Istrien was represented with a large number of Dames and Knights, several participants from other Commanderies from Croatia were also welcomed: the two Commanders Sandro Bari\u010devi\u0107, KHS, and Zlatko \u0160ehanovi\u0107, PhD, the two Vice Commanders Mag.iur Damir pl. Deli\u0161imunovi\u0107 and Hrvoje Me\u017enari\u0107 as well as the two Honorary Knights Cavaliere Dr. Bojan \u0160ober and H.E. Ambassador Neven Pelicari\u0107.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

In the magical atmosphere of the Crystal Hall at the Hotel Kvarner, the Viennese Ball served as the backdrop for an extraordinary social event that evoked memories of the Monarchy era. With a traditional Viennese menu and the music of Strauss and his contemporaries, the evening culminated in the presentation of an exceptionally large Sachertorte, served with sparkling wine and accompanied by a fireworks display to mark the stroke of midnight.<\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
