Our highly esteemed Commander DI Aleksander Kojic passed away on May 26, 2022 at the age of 78 after a long and serious illness.<br><br>Aleksander lived and worked in Austria for many years after studying architecture, before returning to his home country to work and succeed in various professional fields.<br><br>Aleksander was admitted to our Order in Lower Austria\/Heldenberg in 2015 and appointed Commander of the then newly established Commandery of Serbia at the Order Convention in Vienna in 2016. In the following years, he was responsible in this function for the establishment of the Commandery of Serbia and &#8211; until his illness no longer permitted it &#8211; always took part in the Order events with his new candidates.<br><br>With our Commander DI Aleksander Kojic we lose a Knight of the Order, who in his function always worked in an exemplary manner for the Order and who was closely connected with the values of the Order.
