On September 6 and 7, 2022, Grand Master Karl von Habsburg, accompanied by our Procurator, visited the Commandery in Slovenia and the Delegation of Slovakia. The programme, which was perfectly organised on both days, had something of the feel of a state visit, as it included talks with the President of the Republic of Slovenia, H.E. Borut Pahor, and the Prime Minister of Slovakia, H.E. Eduard Heger, as well as numerous media appointments. The exchange of views focused primarily on European policy issues, not least the question of the future role of Central Europe in the European Union, as well as of course the Ukraine war and its dramatic consequences.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
