August Plocek, who passed away completely unexpectedly on February 5, 2013 at the age of 84. We extend our sincere condolences to the relatives of our brother.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Excerpt from his biography:<\/h5>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Prof. mult. August Plocek studied sculpture, commercial graphics, painting, interior design and stage painting at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Graz. After working as a commercial artist, he had been active as a painter, graphic designer and exhibition architect from 1950 onwards, above all in the cultural field &#8211; both at home and abroad.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>His involvement in the design of &#8220;Eureka&#8221;, the largest world fair for research and development in Brussels, is one of the highlights of his long artistic career.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Prof. Plocek dedicated an image of St. George to the Order of St. George.<\/p>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-file\"><a id=\"wp-block-file--media-17399633-5975-44d3-96d8-13b3424691a3\" href=\"https:\/\/www.georgsorden.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/HeiligerGeorg.pdf\">Saint George from Prof. mult.
