The Order of St. George supports the benefit concert for the parish church \u201eCathedral of the Wachau\u201c in Krems with opera star and dame of the Order Natalia Ushakova. Despite postponement and strict corona security regulations, the benefit concert “Ode to Freedom” with soprano Natalia Ushakova, together with the Vienna Emperor Waltz Orchestra and the local chorus Musica Sacra under Ronald Peter was a great success. With works by Beethoven, Bellini, Verdi and others they enthused about 200 guests on October 6, 2020 in the parish church Krems St. Veit, also known as the “Cathedral of the Wachau”. With the proceeds, the Association of Friends of the Cathedral of Krems St. Veit supports the renovation and preservation of the parish church, which is one of the landmarks of the city of Krems. The event was supported by the Commandery of Lower Austria-Heldenberg.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n
