The internationally orientated event of the Dutch commandery entitled \u201cHabsburg Heritage\u201d from 8 to 10 September 2023 in Utrecht opened at Hotel Karel V in Utrecht, with a warm welcome by Commander Teunis Louters and Vice Chancellor Michael Blaha, MSc. We had a glass of cava to celebrate our gathering. The weather was exceptionally good, a beautiful late summer day. The Dutch commandery was strongly validated by the great number of participants from Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, England and Ireland and most greatly honored by the presence of the Dean of the Order\u2019s Academy Dr. Peter Harold. After this introduction in the presence of Baron Jan Reint de Vos van Steenwijk, land commander of the Teutonic Order Bailiwick of Utrecht, we went over to the buildings of the Teutonic order and were firstly officially greeted by the Baron upon which followed a guided tour by Prof. Dr. Renger De Bruin. It was all animated and you could feel the atmosphere of days gone by strongly motivating to find a renewed expression.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
