On 15 September 2025, Chancellor Dr. Stefan Schermaier and Univ.-Prof. Dr. Franz Schausberger, Chairman of the Board of the IRE and Chairman of the Board of Honorary Knights of the Order of St. George, signed an agreement sealing a long-term cooperation between the two organisations in connection with the internationally renowned SALZBURG EUROPE SUMMIT.
The idea for this collaboration was born during discussions between our Procurator, Baron Vinzenz von Stimpfl-Abele, and the Chairman of the Board of Honorary Knights, and will have its premiere at the end of September as part of the 21st Salzburg Europe Summit, to which the Order of St. George will contribute its own colloquium: https://www.salzburg-europe-summit.eu/en-gb/programm#Colloquium2025.
