Excerpt from the Chancellor’s letter on the passing away:
It is my sad duty to inform you all about the passing of our Knight of the Commandery Salzburg/Oberösterreich/Bayern, Mr. Gerhard Gappmaier. Gerhard was torn out of life last Friday, May 3, 2019, surprisingly for everyone. Gerhard was the father of twins at the age of five. My and our sympathy goes to his dear wife Anastasia and his two children.
A special concern of the family is to financially secure the children of Gerhard, which is why it is expressly desired to refrain from flower donations and instead to donate to the account of Gerhard’s wife, Anastasia Gappmaier, set up especially for donation purposes.
