Excerpt from the Chancellor’s letter on the passing away:
Many of you have already heard of the very sad news for our Order. It was with great dismay that we learned of the passing of one of our Knights of the Commandery Wien-Hofburg last Friday morning. Our brother of the Order, Wing Adjutant and friend Jürgen-Michael Kleppich MA passed away peacefully in the company of his family on the evening of last Thursday, 24 June 2021. He endured his serious illness with great bravery and sadly passed away far too early, at the age of only 51. My and our sincere sympathy goes to the family of Jürgen, to whom the values and goals of our Order were a very special concern.
