The chairman of the Honorary Knights, former governor Prof. Dr. Franz Schausberger, will present his latest book entitled ‘CANCEL CULTURE – Moralising and Presumption of the Self-Righteous’ .
In it, he analyses the dangerous phenomenon that threatens concepts of daily coexistence, human order, historically developed words and, last but not least, the foundations of our own cultural heritage. We can look forward to an interesting and exciting evening, entirely in keeping with the new general theme.

The significance of South-East Europe for the European Union

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Josip Brkić, will give a keynote speech entitled ‘The significance of South-East Europe for the European Union’. Following the lecture and subsequent discussion, a champagne reception will be held in honour of the distinguished guest.

Order Convent

This year’s Order Convent in Rome will be a highlight in the history of our Order. Apart from the extraordinary venues, the Investiture of new Dames and Knights of the Order, the churches worth seeing and the interesting supporting programme, the convent meeting will also see the appointment and reappointment of functionaries within the Order.
The numerous programme items, including ticket links, will be sent out at the beginning of February with all the details. We then advise booking quickly, as the various venues have capacity limits.

Viennese Austria Ball 2026

For 36 years, the Austrian Society in Bonn is organizing the Viennese Austria Ball, Bonn’s most elegant ball, in the classicist “Redoute” built by the last Elector Max Franz, a Habsburg and son of Empress Maria Theresa.
In addition to Vienna Mayor, Dr. Michael Ludwig, and Austrian Ambassador to Germany, Dr. Alexander Marschik, Procurator Baron Vinzenz von Stimpfl-Abele has also agreed to serve as patron.
