This was the title of the video shown at the matinee SPEECH ON THE FUTURE OF EUROPE on the occasion of our Grand Master’s 65th birthday. The video offered both emotional and insightful glimpses into his life. It was a title that would have been equally fitting for this impressive event, which took place on 11 January 2026.
Despite a severe onset of winter across Europe, and especially in Austria, high-ranking representatives from different faith communities, politics, diplomacy, business, media, numerous organisations and associations, some of whom had traveled considerable distances, gathered in the unique setting of the Fuchs Villa to hear Karl von Habsburg’s assessment of the current state of European politics and to celebrate his milestone birthday with him.
