This year’s Order Day will begin with a get-together on Friday 16 October 2026, from 7.00 pm, at the Maria-Theresien-Kaserne.
On Saturday, 17 October 2026, from 8.45 am, the line-up, festive Mass and investiture will take place in the Salesian Church, followed by a reception in our St George’s Garden. In the evening, we can look forward to a tasteful gala evening at Heuriger Wolff´s Veltlinerschlössel.

‘Otto von Habsburg – Paneuropean Bridge-Builder’
Order Residence, Rennweg 10, 1030 Vienna, Austria
Start: 7.00 pm
Prof. Dr. Pavo Barišić, President of the International Paneuropean Union, will deliver a lecture in which he will focus on Otto von Habsburg’s contribution to the European cause: his tireless commitment to a united, free and values-based Europe, his role in overcoming the division of the continent, and his vision of a Europe founded upon peace, freedom, subsidiarity and Christian humanist values.
The speaker will also reflect on Archduke Otto’s political and intellectual legacy as a lasting mandate for us all – a call to stand firmly for the European idea, to strengthen awareness of a shared European identity, and to assume responsibility for Europe’s future.
The lecture will be followed by a discussion, after which guests are invited to a reception.

Charity golf tournament
Dames of the Order of St George

The Dames of the Order of St George are organising a charity golf tournament in Poysdorf under the slogan ‘Sport – Fun – Donations’. At the same time, the Dames will also be celebrating their 10th anniversary.
As well as a ‘4-player Texas Scramble’, there is also a programme of activities for non-golfers- It is also possible to book both events, as they take place at different times:
- Departure at 10.30 am from the Hotel Neustifter: tractor tour through Poysdorf’s wine cellar alleys
- Starting at 1.00 pm at the golf club: Introductory golf session with a pro
As there are participant limits for both activities for non-golfers, please specify the activity or activities you wish to take part in when selecting your tickets.

Colloquium as part of the Salzburg Europe Summit 2026
Are values good(s)? Economics and finance caught between responsibility and refusal

The 22nd Salzburg Europe Summit, which will take place from 27 to 29 September 2026, has the theme ‘Europe – a sovereign global player?’
In lectures, panel discussions and joint evening events, internationally recognized experts and decision-makers from politics, business and science from home and abroad discuss current challenges in Europe.

Pontifical Mass in Prague

The Archdiocese of Prague, the Prayer League of Emperor Karl for Peace among Nations, CR, and the Commandery Tschechien cordially invite to a solemn Holy Mass to be held at St Vitus Cathedral in Prague. H. Ex. Mons. Stanislav Přibyl CSsR, Archbishop of Prague and Primate of the Czech Republic, is celebrating this Pontifical Mass to mark the 500th anniversary of the Habsburg dynasty’s accession to the throne of the Kings of Bohemia.
Grand Master HIRH Karl von Habsburg has confirmed his attendance at this solemn Mass, which will be accompanied by Wenzel Johann Tomaschek’s (1836) *Missa solemnis*, Op. 81, the ‘Coronation Mass’.

As chief commander of the Austrian Armed Forces, Federal Minister Mag. Klaudia Tanner is performing outstandingly and stands for strong leadership, clarity and dedication in the service of our country’s security. The talk is intended to provide inspiration, practical ideas and an opportunity for open discussion.

A guided tour through the centuries

The joint event begins with a visit to the Christmas market in Rust am See, after which the Commanders will host a champagne reception (at around 6.00 pm)and a festive Christmas celebration featuring tamburizza music, Christmas stories and a delightful Christmas buffet.

Weekend in Gibraltar
Commandery Großbritannien & Nordirland
The Commandery Großbritannien & Nordirland invites to a weekend in the British Overseas Territory of Gibraltar. Gibraltar has been a British Overseas Territory since 1713; it guards the entrance to the Mediterranean and is under the authority of the British Crown.
There are regular direct flights from London and other UK airports to Gibraltar. Visitors from Austria or Central and Eastern Europe are advised to fly via the UK; alternatively, they can fly to Málaga (Spain) and travel the remaining 135 km to Gibraltar by car.
The number of participants is limited.
