Excerpt from the Chancellor’s letter on the passing away:
It is my sad duty to inform you all of the passing away of our Honorary Knight, Univ. Prof. JUDr. Jiří Toman, Ph.D. Jiří has been infected with the Sars-CoV-2 virus during the last weeks and died on Monday morning (April 20th, 2020).
Our Knight of Honour was very closely connected with the archducal house and also with our Grand Master. With him we have lost not only a highly respected personality, but above all a true friend and supporter of our Order.
