Panel discussion: Europe in a time of multiple crisis

The traditional year-end event will once again be held in form of a panel discussion, this year focussing on Europe in a time of multiple crises.
The discussants will examine the topic from different professional perspectives and then engage in discourse with the audience. We are looking forward to expert opinions and exciting insights from our Grand Master Archduke Karl, the well-known German journalist and author Alexander Wendt, as well as from the President of the Society for Crisis Prevention (GfKV), Herbert Saurugg, MSc, from former Ambassador Dr. Wendelin Ettmayer, an expert on a central aspect of European security and economic policy, who recently published his book ‘Europe and the USA – The Transatlantic Relationship on Trial’, and Karl Wendl, who travelled the world as a war reporter for 30 years, was head of foreign policy at WELT AM SONNTAG and is known to many from television as head of foreign policy at OE24.TV. This year’s event will also be held in a TV studio and broadcast live online in two languages (German and English) so that our Dames and Knights of the Order throughout Europe can participate. This time, the event will also be broadcast in the atrium of the TV studio, where the panel discussion can be followed while enjoying a cosy drink, allowing a larger number of people to take part on site.

Benefit concert and Christmas party of the Order

At the beginning of Advent, the Dames of the Order of St. George are once again organising their grand benefit concert, this time not only in cooperation with the Commanderies of Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland, but also combined with the Order’s Christmas party.
For this evening (benefit concert incl. Christmas party) we would like to ask for a donation of 65,00 Euro/person and thank you for any financial support over and above this, which will benefit the family-children project of the Dames of the Order of St. George.
