On 20 April 2024, the Order of St. George held its Grand Convent in the historic imperial city of Speyer and there was more than just a breath of history on this occasion. Especially because several members of the archducal house had travelled there to take part in the events and – around 750 years after his election and coronation – to commemorate Rudolf I, the first Habsburg emperor.
