On 17 December 2024, in the presence of Vice President Gräfin Mag. Sanela Thun-Hohenstein, MBA, the handover of home-baked biscuits, sweets, toys and Christmas decorations to the home’s director took place.
It is a cherished tradition that the Dames visit the Sisters of the Visitation of Mary shortly before Christmas to present them with a full gift basket.
The official handover of the donations in kind from the ‘For children, together’ charity project took place on 7 December 2024.
This year, the Dames of the Order of St. George once again invited to the benefit concert, which took place on 29 November 2024 in combination with the Christmas party of the Order.
On 27 November 2024, the Dames of the Commandery Kroatien – Zagreb continued their support for the organisation ‘Mali Zmaj’ based in Zagreb.
On 20 November 2024, the Dames of the Order of St. George visited the Advent market in Türkenschanzpark with residents of St. Carolusheim.
In beautiful autumn weather, another excursion took place on 25 September 2024 as part of the ‘Senior Care’ project with the fosterlings from St. Carolusheim.
As part of the ‘Children and Families’ focus, the Dames of the Order of St. George presented a material donation to the St. Anna Children’s Hospital on 21 August 2024.
On 19 August 2024, the Dames and some Knights of the Order of St. George visited the Heidi Horten Museum.
At the meeting of the Dames on 22 June 2024, it was decided to support catechumen classes for children in the villages of Turabdin.
