On April 23, 2025, former Governor Univ. Prof. Dr. Franz Schausberger, together with the former Governors Günther Platter and Hermann Schützenhöfer, received the “Golden Commander’s Cross with the Star of the Decoration of Honor for Services to the Federal State of Lower Austria” from Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner.
