Austria before and after Saint Germain

The humanities scholar and psychotherapist Thomas Köhler and the historian Christian Mertens together with the political scientist Anton Pelinka, have published the work “A Glance of the World – Austria before and after Saint Germain”
At the invitation of the Order Academy, the publishers presented the book and focussed in their lecture in particular on Austria´s contribution to the identity of (Central) Europe.
In doing so, the took a broad look across the centuries and adressed, among other things, the traces of the supranational or the relevance of the country in its Central European neighbourhood and as a “neutral” mediator between politics and cutures.
